Back on the Left Coast

Hey everybody! Well, I'm back in Eugene after a marathon travel day. Before my debrief, I'll run through what I did today.

In the morning, I woke up in St. Louis and took the Metro bus to the famous Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Once therse, I enrolled in "Beer School." It was a 30-minute 3-credit course all about Beer making and tasting. We were taught the four "s's" to drinking beer. First: Sight the beer. Second: Swirl the Beer. Third: Smell the Beer. Fourth: Sip the Beer. Everybody got that?

I got a really neato looking certifcate and a lot of free booze for answering questions right!

The tour itself is pretty cool. They take you to see the famous Clydesdale horses, where they make the beer, and where they package it. At the end of the tour, they give you two free sample pints of whatever beer Anheuser-Busch makes. If you're ever in St. Louis, it is certainly worth the visit.

I'll write up a debrief tomorrow, but now I must go and get some sleep!

Always take on a 3-0 pitch ;)
