Hey Everyone!
The day is almost here for the first international Baseball Roadtrip to Canada. This BRT is going to an incredible experience that I am really, really looking forward to.
As opposed to North Carolina, this BRT has been on the calendar for months. First it was on, then off, now it's back on. The anticipation is incredible. Ever since I started doing these roadtrips, I have always wanted to check out how America's national past time exists in Canada. In a short time, I'll find out.
I have a very early morning tomorrow as my train leaves at 5:30am from Eugene. The ETA into Vancouver will be around 5pm. I will ride my bike to the hotel, check-in, then head right to the game from there.
On Wednesday, I'll do the bike ride in Stanley Park, sail to Victoria and see the Seals play at Royal Athletic Park. I'll be back late, late Thursday here in Eugene after sailing from Victoria to Seattle, then train to here.
The weather in Canada is supposed to be cooler with temperatures in the lower to mid-sixties with a chance of showers for the entire time I'm there.
As you can all see, I have a very long, tiring trip planned, but it should be a lot of fun. I will be bringing my computer along so I can update this blog while on the road. I will also be on Twitter and Facebook.
Always take on a 3-0 pitch ;)
