So, the Cubs-White Sox game at Wrigley was rained out. I am really disappointed, but that's just part of the game.
Luckily, my $86 dollar ticket will be refunded by StubHub.
I did, however, get to go to Wrigley Field for the pregame rituals. If there is a sacred place of baseball, it is Wrigley. The park is small enough to have a lot of intimacy, and the atmosphere is great as the fans are into all facets of the game. This is, in my opinion, the best park in all of baseball, both Major and Minor.
Tomorrow, I go off to St. Louis. That area had three inches of rain today and lots of thunderstorms, but the Cards and Tigers are playing tonight at Busch Stadium. I really hope that they play tomorrow.
Either way, I did have fun today. I got to experience Wrigley Field. As a baseball fan, that is all you can ask for.
Always take on a 3-0 pitch ;)
